We are looking for motivated individuals who will contribute to our Underwriting team to achieve necessary business results. Candidates will have the opportunity to support ProSight’s Underwriters and learn their respective lines of business. Ideal candidates will have a team mentality, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate for the completion of assigned projects. Candidates must be able to perform under strict timelines. Under guidance, this individual should be able to effectively evaluate risk and risk analysis while maintaining workflows and processes.
Responsibilities
- Support underwriters with all activities related to account development, including but not limited to renewals, inspections, and appraisals.
- Assist underwriters in data analysis and account assessment
- Communicate with brokers & clients on outstanding items and underwriting questions and serve as an additional resource for Underwriters
- Work closely with the Operations team on day-to-day functions and follow company workflow and processes
- Draft quotes and binders and review with underwriters
- Review and identify claims for underwriters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Ability to think critically and showcase problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to Multitask
- Previous insurance experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written
- Understanding of Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Willingness to learn and collaborate with others
