The Product Manager is responsible for the vision, execution, and success of one or more of ProSight’s products. You will take the lead on defining and executing the product roadmap, working cross-functionally with ProSight Membership and other stakeholders to make improvements based on market research, competitive analysis, the needs of ProSight’s Membership, and the company’s overall strategy. The Product Manager must possess a unique blend of business, analytical and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.

Responsibilities

Product Vision, Strategy and Planning:

  • Responsible for creating and articulating the product vision and strategic roadmap and ensuring alignment with ProSight strategy and goals
  • Continuously evaluate industry trends, product performance and customer feedback; identify innovations and opportunities to address needs and improve the product experience so it continues to remain relevant and competitive
  • Serve as voice of customer by collecting insights from design research and making product decisions while balancing customer feedback and technical feasibility
  • Achieve consensus from wide range of cross-functional stakeholders to define, create, and deliver a prioritized backlog of user stories for active and future sprints
  • Establish the product strategy, create the business case, and define the product roadmap. Translate solution ideas into short-term and long-term execution plans
  • Drive buy-build-partner analysis, and where necessary, review potential external partner relationships for the product

Product Delivery and Success

  • Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, prepare for and support the release of new products and enhancements to existing products. Responsible for product launch and release plans. Coordinate internal and external product launches working with Marketing, Sales and Customer Success
  • Manage and coordinate with vendors to define clear deliverables, maintain budget/timelines, and unblock obstacles as well as ongoing management of the overall vendor relationship
  • Ensure legal, risk, compliance, brand, and accessibility are engrained into the product DNA and get ahead of any non-negotiable deliverables
  • Triage production incidents, help identify problems and partner with business and technology teams to ensure timely resolution and minimize impact to users and the business

Growth and Portfolio Management

  • Drive growth and broader portfolio success, including product engagement and satisfaction; manage the commercial performance of the product, assessing and planning the product’s future lifecycle
  • Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met
  • Manage the budget and revenue projections

People and Talent

  • As needed, assume responsibility for recruiting, hiring, managing, developing, and motivating direct reports, and installing/nurturing a product management centric culture. This responsibility extends to external relationships

Requirements

  • Product management - Innovation in product management: minimum 7 years of proven product management experience in software, information, or related products
  • Organizational development - Experience developing, motivating and nurturing external relationships with key partners. Proven success delivering results with limited resources people, money and time
  • Experience - Banking experience (preferred) with an understanding of commercial credit risk management and banking
  • Education - Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
  • Communication skills - Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation & consultative skills for effective collaboration with senior management

The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $125,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, job-related knowledge and market considerations. This role is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on business results and individual performance.
