Unarmed Security Officer - Full time

Duties and Responsibilities: We’re hiring reliable, experienced, unarmed Security Officers! The person in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures.

• Remain alert, avoid distractions, and observe all activity around the post
• Patrol a designated area on foot or in a vehicle
• Enforce company and client policies
• Observe, report, and document violations of policy by notifying the Shift Lieutenant or Control Dispatch
• Respond to incidents in a quick manner
• Observe, report, and prevent incidents by providing a physical presence
• Officers will remain on the post and wait until they have proper relief
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity
• Secure facility and designated areas
• Investigate and prepare reports on incidents

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand or walk for long periods
• Must have excellent written and communication skills
• Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must at least 18 years of age
• Prior Law Enforcement and/or Military background preferred
