Job Overview:
Prosegur Security is seeking highly professional and customer service–focused SOC Operators for a premier client site in Santa Clara, CA. This position combines physical patrol duties with security operations center (SOC) responsibilities, including alarm monitoring, camera surveillance, and access control management.
This role requires a balance of excellent customer service skills and the ability to confidently operate security technology, including Genetec, alarm panels, and camera systems. Officers are expected to maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times, including proper uniform wear as outlined in company grooming standards — such as tucked shirts, neat attire, and overall presentation.

Pay Rate: $29.50 / Hour
Job Schedule: Wednesday/Thursday, 1400-2200
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
- Perform regular interior and exterior patrols to deter and detect safety hazards or security risks.
- Operate the SOC, monitoring camera systems, alarm systems, and the Lenel 9000 access control system.
- Manage access permissions, track badge activity, and monitor site security systems in real time.
- Accurately document incidents, patrol logs, and SOC activity reports.
- Respond to alarms, radio calls, and electronic alerts with urgency and professionalism.
- Answer phone calls from interior guard posts, employees, and clients, and dispatch appropriate responses.
- Initiate escalation and notification procedures when necessary.
- Collaborate with other security team members and site leadership to resolve incidents and ensure operational continuity.
- Always maintain a professional and service-oriented demeanor when assisting employees, visitors, and contractors.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid California Security Guard License.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Exceptional customer service skills are absolutely required.
- Minimum 1 year of security experience.
- ***Dispatch/SOC experience preferred***
- Comfortable with technology, including cameras, alarm panels.
- Genetec experience is a plus.
- Alarm and camera monitoring is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and operate multiple security systems confidently with provided training.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, including during varied weather conditions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have reliable transportation.
