What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Security Officer - Full Time position at Prosegur?
Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general armed security duties to our clients.
- Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
- Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions
- Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
- Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
- This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
- You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Preferably in possession of a valid City of Kansas City, MO Armed Guard License
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
- Capable of following complex instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
