Armed Security Officer - 3rd Shift

Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and clients while performing armed security duties.
• Report to the Security Sergeant and follow assigned post orders and instructions.
• Promote safety by observing, reporting, and assisting in correcting potential hazards.
• Enforce Prosegur, client, and State of Missouri Private Security Section requirements.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional and courteous manner.
• Complete incident reports, daily logs, and other required documentation accurately.
• Perform routine foot or vehicle patrols, moderate lifting, and work in various weather conditions as an Armed Security Officer.

Additional Requirements:

• Must comply with Prosegur, client, and State of Missouri Private Security Section regulations.
• Valid/current St. Louis Armed Security License (issued by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department – Private Security Section).
• Appropriate firearm holster and duty equipment.

Qualifications:

Required

• Minimum 21 years of age (per Missouri armed licensing requirements).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current Armed Security License issued by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (if driving is required for post assignment).
• Ability to follow instructions, complete assigned tasks, and respond appropriately to incidents.
• Willingness to participate in required background check, drug screen, and licensing compliance process.

Preferred.

• Knowledge of basic security operations and emergency response procedures.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., report writing systems, Microsoft Office).
