Administrative Assistant
The DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the HR, Finance, Budget & Grants Division. The role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment and can effectively manage a wide range of administrative responsibilities within the District Attorney’s Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to HR functions, including attendance tracking and data entry using Kronos, CV360, or similar systems
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems
- Coordinate witness travel request and employee travel reimbursement
- Provide direct administrative support to the Director of HR, Finance, Budget and Grants
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed by the leadership team
- Associate degree or higher in Administrative Professional, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of administrative support experience, preferably in a court or legal setting
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered
- Experience with Kronos systems and CV360, or similar HRIS platforms
- Prior administrative experience in government or public service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
- Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
