What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping & Receiving Representative position at ProSearch?
The Shipping & Receiving Representative is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment of new or used product and equipment that leads to a high level of client satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform daily receipt process by entering into company computer system from incoming UPS and truck shipments
- Perform daily shipping of new or used copier equipment or IT products
- Stage and prepare orders for delivery or UPS shipment
- Enter daily transfers or adjustments
- Perform local deliveries meeting client deadlines
- Ship parts for Technicians daily while meeting deadlines.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts quarterly
- Provide backup assistance to other Shipping & Receiving team members when they are out including becoming cross trained in their areas
- Accurately maintain and comply with documentation and administrative procedures in a timely basis to include time entry process
- Attend required company and departmental meetings
- Act in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma required
- Previous experience in a shipping and receiving or similar role preferred
- Valid Driver’s License, proof of personal insurance, and an acceptable driving record

- Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications, vendor software, and company specific programs
- Well-developed organizational and time/task management skills

Hourly Pay Rate: $20-23/hr.
