What You’ll Do
Commercial Transaction Support
- Review, analyze, and draft documents such as promissory notes, mortgages/deeds of trust, and security agreements
- Prepare assignments, discharges, and modification documents
- Coordinate with title companies and attorneys on title review and document accuracy
- Issue Notices of Default, Demand, or Maturity
- Record documents and maintain organized physical and electronic files
Operational & Paralegal Support
- Review and prepare loan files for assignment
- Support structured finance transactions alongside loan officers and borrowers
- Help draft term sheets and supporting documents
- Collaborate with internal audit teams and title partners to ensure compliance
- Assist with cross-team administrative needs
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage internal storage unit archives and documentation databases
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant role supporting transactions, commercial closings, or loan documentation
- Strong understanding of loan documents, secured transactions, and title processes
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working on-site in a collaborative environment
- Clear and proactive communication style
