JOB SUMMARY

PROSE Technologies is looking for an entry-level production assistant to join our growing team in our Budd Lake, NJ facility. This role will play a crucial part in facilitating the efficient and seamless production of cutting-edge wireless devices. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn about production and also bring a general understanding of manufacturing processes to ensure the successful delivery of our high-quality products. We need a self-starter to think innovatively and support PROSE as we aim to provide the best experience for our customers!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop production plans that meet quality standards and delivery deadlines.
• Create and maintain detailed production schedules among multiple facilities.
• Initiate the release of job orders to the production line.
• Support the team in ordering and expediting materials to ensure that customer’s orders are fulfilled on time.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

• Associate degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar field.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Possess a high-level understanding of methods to drive process improvement.
• Have a strong understanding of the manufacturing process as it relates to production facilities.
• Experience using ERP System and Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Ability to wear many hats and think outside the box.
• Be a proactive thinker and active listener.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.
• Bonus points if you have a Six Sigma certification!
