We are seeking skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics to join our team in Landing, NJ. The ideal Technician will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of heavy equipment used in construction and other industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy construction equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR; CDL preferred.

Shift:
Day shift 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday to Friday.
