We are currently seeking a Junior/Entry Level Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Exeter, PA. This role is ideal for an apprentice or a technician out of technical school looking to get into the construction equipment repair industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics on a wide range of heavy equipment.
Identify and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
Conduct preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and performance.
Maintain detailed service records and documentation.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred.
2 years of hands-on experience as a heavy equipment mechanic repairing construction equipment.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
Strong attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting skills.
Basic computer skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred.
