What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mold Remediation Technician position at Prorestore?
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry, including mold remediation, water damage restoration and knowledge of power tools and general cleaning.
Responsibilities:
- Perform restoration tasks such as cleaning, demo, and painting.
- Conduct mold remediation throughout central MA
- Utilize power tools and equipment for restoration projects
- Clean and sanitize areas affected by water or mold
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines during restoration processes
Requirements:
-Be able to work in small spaces (crawl space, attic)
-Be comfortable working in extreme heat and/or extreme cold (Attics/crawlspaces)
-Be able to work in PPE (respirator, Tyvek suit, boots, gloves, eye pro)
-Must have drivers license and a way to get to work
- Prior experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not required
-Ability to be a fast learner and make decisions
- Ability to operate power tools effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
