Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources
- Manage front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance
- Review, schedule, and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information, creating or updating patient
- Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, working waitlists, filling
- Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and professionally, including basic
- Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in a medical front desk, healthcare reception, physical therapy, chiropractic, dental,
- Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills
- Comfort using computers, phones, scheduling systems, electronic medical records, email, and basic
- Ability to discuss payments, scheduling expectations, and basic insurance information with
- A calm, patient-centered approach with strong attention to detail and a willingness to help the team
