Break Press Operator

Position: Break Press Operator

Location: Claremore, OK

Pay: $18 to $25hour

Experience: Previous experience operating press brakes.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm

ProRecruiters is seeking a Break Press Operator to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal and plate to the required dimensions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and shop drawings.
• Select proper tooling and machine settings for each job.
• Measure, inspect, and verify part dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Perform adjustments, offsets, and program edits as needed to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comply with company and OSHA
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Position Requirements

• Above average math skills
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of metal types, thicknesses, and bending characteristics
• Ability to be on your feet for multiple hours a day
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. (maximum lifting requirement for MST)
• Walk, carry, reach, sit, stand, and push/pull.
