Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Claremore, OK

Pay: $18 to $23/hour

Experience:

• 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Hands-on experience using manual machine shop tools for fabrication and repair.

Education: High school diploma or GED required, technical or trade school preferred.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4:30pm to 1:00am (Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or on-call as needed)

Job Description:

• Assist with the upkeep, troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement of equipment and systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, tools, and facility systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
• Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory and requisition supplies when necessary.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly and provide effective troubleshooting.
• Support facility maintenance, including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and structural repairs.

Position Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, motors, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Proficient with electrical systems, including reading schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in elevated or confined spaces.
• Ability to work in environments with noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
