Responsible for setup, configuration, and management of IT device and application discovery and dependency mapping tooling (ADDM), with preference for Device42 experience.

Role Overview:
Responsible for setup, configuration, and management of IT device and application discovery and dependency mapping tooling (ADDM), with preference for Device42 experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Setup, configuration, and management of ADDM tooling
- Creation and management of device discovery jobs
- Ensure full-stack visibility and data accuracy
- Tune and optimize scanning performance
- Perform upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation
- Troubleshoot issues and handle errors
- Monitor license compliance
- Develop monitoring, alerting, reports, and dashboards
- Maintain data integrity and remediate discrepancies
- Create and publish end-user procedures
- Setup, configuration, and management of IT device and application discovery, and dependency mapping tooling (ADDM). Preferably demonstrated skills managing Device42.
- Proficient in the creation, and management of device discovery jobs in a mixed infrastructure environment.
- Ensuring full-stack visibility.
- Maintain data accuracy, avoiding duplicates.
- Tune/optimize scanning performance.
- Understand IT Asset Lifecyle Management.
- Understand network protocols (SSH, SNMP, WMI, etc.)
- Proven ability to map complex dependencies between physical, virtual, network, etc. resources, and support operational impacts and root cause analysis.
- Support the configuration and management of toolset Identity and Access Management roles.
- Perform upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediations.
- Perform troubleshooting and error handling.
- Monitor and maintain ADDM toolset license compliance.
- Develop and implement monitoring and alerting to support the successful operations of the ADDM tooling.
- Develop and distribute dependency and device maps, reports, and dashboards supporting business requirements.
- Maintain data integrity and remediate any discovery discrepancies.
- Ability to create and publish end-user procedures.
- Ability to integrate with external tooling, e.g., ITSM tools, CMDB, and Report tooling.
- Create custom discovery patterns.
- Strong understanding of Monitoring and Alerting principles.
- Experience interpreting vulnerability output from Tenable (Nessus) and developing remediation plans.
- Create custom user documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Experience using or administrating any of the following tools: EasyVista, PRTG, Prometheus / Grafana, Pingdom, Instana, and Microsoft Sentinel.
