Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting using accounting software QuickBooks.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable processing.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and financial reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Oversee payroll processing and related tax filings to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Conduct detailed account analysis, including account reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation to maintain data integrity.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as managing office supplies, coordinating appointments, and supporting organizational operations.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all financial transactions and ensure adherence to internal controls and policies.
  • Support inventory and parts operations, including occasional delivery services.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role within corporate settings.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting software QuickBooks.
  • Demonstrated ability in bank reconciliation, account analysis, journal entries, and general ledger management.
  • Experience with payroll processing, tax compliance, and accounts payable/receivable functions.
  • Excellent skills in financial report writing, account reconciliation techniques (including 10 key typing), and budget management.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data accurately while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
