  • Documentation & CMMS: Accurately record work, time, parts, and failure codes in the CMMS. Keep electrical prints, panel schedules, and device lists current; assist with asset labeling and hierarchy.
  • Spare Parts & Inventory: Identify critical spares, verify specs, and coordinate with the storeroom. Ensure all parts used are issued to work orders for cost tracking.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate with operators, engineers, vendors, and other technicians to plan repairs and minimize downtime. Provide clear status updates and handoffs.
  • Responsiveness: Support unplanned events and critical operations; participate in on-call rotation and occasional off-shift/weekend work as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or Associate’s in Electrical/Industrial Technology preferred.

  • Comfortable working on 480V 3-phase power, MCCs, distribution panels, and machine controls.
  • Basic understanding of pneumatics/hydraulics and instrumentation (pressure, flow, level, temperature).
  • Computer skills: CMMS usage, PLC software navigation, device backup/restore, and email/Office tools.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and self-management; can work independently under minimal supervision.
