Position Overview
We are seeking a Lab Associate Research Scientist to join our collaborative and innovative team. The successful candidate will be flexible, curious, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: $60,000 - $64,000 Per Year - Full Time
Key Responsibilities
Customer-Focused Research:
· Conduct engineered heart tissue testing using the MyoLab® analyzer (primary responsibility)
· Manufacture MyoPod® tissue scaffolds following established protocols
· Perform cell seeding and tissue culture
· Analyze and interpret data from experiments
· Collaborate with customers to address questions and data requests
Laboratory Operations:
· Maintain lab equipment and cleanliness per scheduled protocols
· Monitor and restock lab inventory
· Maintain thorough and accurate records including logs, protocols, and instrument procedures
Quality Assurance:
· Assist in drafting and refining test protocols for proprietary instruments
· Execute quality assurance tests precisely and document results
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, biological sciences, or related fields
· Hands-on research experience in academic or industry lab settings
· Exceptionally detail-oriented, methodical, and highly organized
· Self-motivated and eager to learn
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently
