Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Injection Molding Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining plastic injection molding machines to produce high-quality parts efficiently. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, safety standards are upheld, and quality specifications are met consistently. Duties
- Monitor parts coming off the injection molding machine.
- Assembly of molded parts.
- Packing parts and labeling Finished Goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles
- Assist with setting up and taking down work stations for changeovers.
- Monitoring material levels.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with plastics blow molding, fabrication, machining, and assembly processes within a manufacturing environment preferred
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste
- Warehouse experience including materials handling with forklifts or similar equipment is preferred
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments
- Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes and quality control standards is highly desirable
