- Play a key role in keeping the monthly close running smoothly
- Own essential accounting processes that directly impact reporting accuracy

- Perform general ledger accounting including maintaining accurate account activity and support schedules
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and reclasses
- Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations and investigate/resolve variances
- Support month-end close, ensuring tasks are completed on time and documentation is audit-ready
- Assist with financial reporting support (pulling schedules, tying out activity, basic variance explanations)
- Partner with AP/AR and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper coding
- Maintain organized documentation and support internal and external requests as neededQualifications
- 2 years of experience in an accounting/general ledger role (Staff Accountant, Accountant, GL Accountant)
- Experience preparing journal entries and completing reconciliations
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with common accounting systems/ERPs (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Dynamics, etc.)Nice to Have
- Month-end close in a mid-size organization or high-volume environment
- ERP experience (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, Workday Financials, etc.)
- Exposure to audit support and building/maintaining close schedules
