The Network Administratorwill support Propio'snetwork topology in all corporate offices and in the cloud. This person will also supportlegacy systems as well as assistin establishing processes to support future iterations of network structure.
Responsibilities:
The Network Administratorwill support Propio'snetwork topology in all corporate offices and in the cloud. This person will also supportlegacy systems as well as assistin establishing processes to support future iterations of network structure.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining computer networks and systems including software, mainframes, VPNs, routers and other physical hardware
- Installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues
- Updating virus protection software to keep data and communications protected
- Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance for computer systems and networks
- Communicating networking issues to other employees and management, especially in training new users
- Fixing software and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the systems
- Preparing reference material for users by drafting operation instructions
- Able to work under pressure in stressful situations with a strong sense of urgency.
- Associate’s degree in computer science or equivalent relevant experience.
- General Technologist skills and ability to understand hierarchy of ongoing projects and outages.
- 2 years of demonstrated experience working with Technical Support.
- 2 years of demonstrated experience working with a production network in a support role.
- Good Knowledge of networking and network layer topology.
- Experience supporting multiple sites remotely.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
