Summary

We are seeking a Records Specialist to join our team at Prophylaxis HealthCare. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations while supporting our mission of providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize patient medical records in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all medical documentation.
• Assist healthcare providers in accessing and updating patient information as needed.
• Implement and manage electronic health record systems effectively.
• Collaborate with medical office staff to streamline record-keeping processes.
• Respond to inquiries regarding patient records while adhering to privacy regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing medical records or similar administrative roles.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with staff and patients.
