Responsibilities
- You will assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, and water features.
- Prepare sites by grading, excavating, and setting forms using hand tools and power tools to ensure a solid foundation for installations.
- Operate heavy equipment safely for site preparation and material transportation when necessary.
- Install various materials including concrete, brick, stone, pavers, and other hardscape components with precision and attention to detail.
- Apply finishing techniques like concrete finishing, sealing, caulking, or trimming to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal of installed features.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials regularly while adhering to safety protocols on-site.
Experience
- Proven experience in hardscape installation or related construction fields such as masonry, carpentry, or landscaping.
- Skilled in operating hand tools (e.g., trowels, chisels) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills) safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation relevant to site preparation or material handling is preferred.
- Experience working with concrete forming techniques, masonry work, tile laying or flooring installation is highly desirable.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when needed in fast-paced environments.
