What are the responsibilities and job description for the Debt Collector - Third Party position at Property Receivables, Corp?
Property Receivables, Corp is a nationwide collection agency that is growing its Renton, WA location. We are seeking Experienced Collection Specialists or individuals with experience in sales. Our representatives provide a combination of strong collections know-how with the ability to persuade and influence consumers to resolve their debts while being compliant with all federal, state and local laws. We are looking for Collection Specialists that bring their will to win every day and take initiative by turning problems into opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for achieving recovery goals by making outbound and answering inbound collection calls. Our team negotiates payment arrangements and settlement agreements based upon a financial analysis of the consumer’s ability to pay their debt. You will use skip tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets. Additional responsibilities include managing your collection desk/accounts and documenting accounts while following our policies and procedures. This includes strict adherence to all compliance requirements.
Selected candidates with collections experience will possess the following:
Strong communication and influencing skills
Effective listening techniques
Patience and ability to manage stress
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
Ability to analyze each consumer’s unique situation, create and negotiate repayment of past due obligations
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of federal, state and local collection laws and regulations.
All selected candidates must exhibit flexibility and be open to change and work well in a high-volume, fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Hourly wage plus commission! No cap on earnings!!
$18-$22/hour depending on experience
$200 monthly attendance bonus just for showing up!
M-F 8-5, no weekends, no evenings
Option of hybrid work from home after 45 days and acceptable performance level
