This role is hands-on and includes supervising maintenance staff, coordinating work orders, and managing preventative maintenance programs.Key Responsibilities:Lead, train, and support on-site maintenance team membersComplete and assign work orders, unit turns, and preventative maintenanceEnsure all building systems and equipment are functioning properlyMaintain compliance with HUD/Section 8 requirements and property standardsOversee vendor scheduling, project timelines, and maintenance budgetsPromote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to safety protocolsRespond to emergency maintenance situations as neededRequirements:Qualifications:Previous maintenance lead or supervisor experience required Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs Experience working in Section 8 or affordable housing communities strongly preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and leadership skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
