Expanding Chicago-based property management company is looking to add to our existing Compliance Department located in a southwest suburb of Chicago.
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure sites adhere to Company established procedures and HUD / LIHTC guidelines
- Audit / Review / Approve Section 8 and Tax Credit Files
- Guide and counsel site personnel to ensure occupancy and recertification goals are met
- Assist in training site personnel
- Represent Compliance at MORs & other site audits
- Travel to sites to review / audit files, train personnel, and assist as needed
Requirements:
- Familiarity with Section 8 procedures & processes
- 2 years experience preparing and / or auditing certifications
- Previous experience as Sec 8 or TC Property Manager
- COS certificate strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Organized
- Very Detail-Oriented
- Computer literate
- Good follow-up skills required
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Working knowledge of Yardi is a definite plus
- 40% travel required
- Salary commensurate with experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
