We are seeking a reliable, skilled Handyman/Maintenance Technician to join our property management and maintenance team. This role involves handling a wide range of maintenance tasks including unit buildouts, general repairs, and tenant work orders. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in multiple trades, excellent problem-solving skills, and a team-oriented attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in commercial units and common areas
- Complete tenant work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with unit buildouts, renovations, and construction tasks
- Conduct basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and concrete work
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively
- Load and transport materials, tools, and equipment as needed
- Ensure properties meet safety and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with tenants, management, and team members
- Qualifications:
- Proven experience in handyman, maintenance, or construction-related roles
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, concrete, and basic carpentry
- Proficient in using tools, machinery, and equipment relevant to the job
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and find practical, efficient solutions
- Physically capable of performing manual labor, lifting, and working outdoors
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferably capable of towing trailers)
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus
- Reliable transportation to get to and from the job (preferably able to tow a trailer)
