What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance position at Property Keepers Management LLC?
Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on and experienced maintenance staff member for repairs and preventative maintenance for our residential condominium complex. Working with various flooring materials and drywall installation and repair will be essential. The successful candidate must be able to multi-task, respond to needs in a timely manner, have a calm presence and adequate verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Respond to emergency repair issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
- Coordinate with property management and resident board
- Preventive maintenance
- Inspect property daily/weekly/monthly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience required.
- Knowledge of building systems (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, flooring, drywall, etc.)
- Familiarity with local safety and building regulations
- Valid driver’s license.
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift/carry up to basic hand tools and equipment.
- Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform manual labor
Schedule & Compensation
- Work hours (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm)
- Full-time, non-exempt
- Hourly Range $15-$18 depending on experience.
