We’re currently seeking a skilled and reliable Multi-Skilled Handyman to join our Repairs Division, helping restore homes and businesses after fire, water, and storm damage.
Position Summary:
As a Multi-Skilled Handyman, you’ll play a key role in the repair and rebuild phase of restoration projects. You’ll work on a variety of tasks including drywall, painting, trim work, minor plumbing and electrical, floor installs, and general carpentry. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks on residential and commercial properties.
- Complete drywall installation and finishing, painting, floor install, and trim work.
- Assist with minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Install doors, cabinetry, flooring, and other fixtures.
- Ensure all work meets company standards and complies with safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role (restoration experience a plus).
- Strong skills in drywall, painting, carpentry, and basic plumbing/electrical.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
