Position: Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician
Location: Properties located in Oregon (Newberg, Woodburn)
Job Description:
At PAM, we pride ourselves on the efficient and top-tier management of our expanding portfolio of properties. We are actively seeking an Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician who can handle diverse tasks, from hands-on maintenance to team management. This individual will play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of our properties, ensuring both resident satisfaction and compliance with Oregon and Washington state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Routine Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections, addressing and resolving issues promptly to maintain property standards.
2. Waste Management: Ensure regular cleanliness of premises through routine rounds of the property. Responsible for maintaining compactors and picking up garbage and dog waste.
3. Repairs and Upkeep: Oversee and handle repairs both inside and outside apartments, including appliances, walls, outdoor areas, pools, spas, and fitness equipment.
4. Legal Compliance: Adhere to and ensure the team maintains all state-designated legal timeframes for property maintenance in both Oregon and Washington.
5. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all activities, expenses, vendor interactions, and other relevant data.
6. Ongoing Training: Encourage and facilitate participation in the Multi-Family Northwest's Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) program and other training opportunities for the team.
Requirements:
- Several years of hands-on experience in property maintenance, with a focus on multi-unit residential properties.
- Proficiency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Familiarity with property management regulations in Oregon and Washington.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to prompt and efficient service.
