What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at ProperTpros INC?
ProperTpros Inc is a local property management company in Evansville, IN. Currently hiring for construction and maintenance personnel to assist in the renovation and remodel of our rental properties.
We are looking for a reliable, skilled renovation/construction worker to perform daily responsibilities which can vary greatly dependent upon the property. If you can perform a number of the listed duties below but not all please feel free to apply, we also train our employees! MUST have a reliable source of transportation to get to and from jobsites multiple times in a day.
General Duties (Not Limited To):
- Assess Work Sites, determine needed supplies and materials
- Perform Carpentry Work
- Replace Plumbing Fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, and faucets.
- Hang, repair, and replace drywall
- Paint
- Install Flooring - wood, carpet, tile, and other flooring types
- Make Repairs to existing property elements
- Repair existing property elements when possible.
- Perform Finish Work install and replace trim, molding, windows, etc.
- Replace Light Fixtures
Skills
- Mechanical skills – use a variety of tools and perform many different tasks that include carpentry, plumbing, and light electrical work.
- Communication – work collaboratively with other employees and professionals to complete job
- Physical ability – use physical ability to work with their hands and perform many tasks that require squatting, standing, and bending for hours at a time.
- Attention to detail – because different aspects of remodeling work pay close attention to ensure that all work is performed well and correctly.
- Multi-tasking – perform work on different projects and rooms while using a vast variety of remodeling skills, multi-tasking is an essential component of the job.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $22.00 per hour
