We are seeking talented and experienced Floater Room Attendants to join our amazing team. The Floater Room Attendant will work in multiple locations and will be responsible for cleaning, dusting, waxing, scrubbing, polishing, and servicing guest rooms and public areas as needed, following hotel standards. As a Floater Room Attendant, you will be held accountable for providing the highest level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, ensuring that all guest needs are met with a clean and well-stocked room.
Duties to include, but not limited to;
Job Description
Work flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
Strictly abide by company Lost & Found, Attendance, Safety, OSHA, etc policies & procedures.
Stock cart with supplies needed to perform duties
Strip rooms of soiled linen and garbage
Empty wastebaskets and follow OSHA guidelines for disposal
Properly place guest amenities, e.g., toilet paper, tissues, guest service directories, and turndown amenities
Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
Clean baseboards, walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
Transport trash and waste to disposal area from guest rooms
Dust and clean all furniture including picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, armoires, desks, etc.
Make beds with clean sheets in excellent condition, checking for stains and rips
Be knowledgeable and actively practice the hotel’s emergency procedures and lost and found guidelines
Perform and complete any special projects or reasonable requests assigned by management, e.g., daily focus projects
Participate in Quality Check Audits conducted by management
Assist colleagues with their duties when needed
Properly use all cleaning fluids and supplies according to OSHA standards
Participate in general cleaning of guest rooms and public areas as set forth by management
Ensure all equipment is in operational order and all supplies are up to par. Report equipment that needs repair or supplies that need to be ordered
Report any discrepancies in room status, why the room was not completed, etc., to the Manager
Assist guests with any cleaning concerns they might have or requests for additional supplies
English language skills required
Requirements
Flexibility to work in different locations as needed
Local candidates only
U.S. Citizenship/Work Authorization required
1-2 years of luxury hospitality experience preferred
Be able to lift, pull, and push 50 pounds without restrictions
Be able to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the workplace
Excellent organizational skills
Capable of working with little or no supervision and still maintain immaculate standards
OSHA certification would be a plus
