We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Principal to lead one of Propel Schools’ campuses in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role where the Principal will oversee both academic and operational excellence, ensuring a positive school culture and high levels of student achievement. Responsibilities include providing instructional leadership, developing and supporting staff, engaging families and community members, enforcing school policies, and managing day-to-day operations. The Principal will work closely with the administrative team and faculty to implement innovative programs and initiatives aligned with Propel’s mission to ensure student success.
- Proven experience in instructional leadership, curriculum development, and school management
- Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication, team-building, and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders
- Commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusivity in a school community
- Familiarity with behavior management, student engagement strategies, and academic metrics
- Experience working in an urban or public charter school setting is preferred
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field
- Valid Pennsylvania Principal certification or eligibility to obtain certification
