Opportunity:-
Propel Schools is seeking a Boys Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach for the 2025-2026 season at:
- Propel Braddock Hills/Andrew Street High School
- Propel Montour High School
Successful candidates will have:
- Prior Varsity or Junior Varsity coaching experience
- Preferred candidates will have experience as a head coach, playing experience, as well as the demonstrated ability to build a successful program starting at the varsity level
- Responsible for assembling his/her coaching staff
- Experience coordinating the Varsity program with the assistant coach and athletic director
- Experience implementing off-season programs in accordance with WPIAL/PIAA regulations.
- High level of personal organization and planning
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
- A commitment to the Promising Principles of Propel
Requirements:
- Up-to-date TB Test
- Act 34 Criminal Clearance
- Act 114 FBI Clearance
- Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance
- Mandated Reporter Training
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
