Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Construction Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves developing new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and expanding our presence within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong outside sales skills, experience in B2B sales, and a passion for building relationships with clients. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where strategic thinking and excellent communication are essential. The Construction Sales Representative will be instrumental in driving revenue growth through effective territory management, lead generation, and product demonstrations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target specific areas we serve
  • Identify and generate new leads through leads, networking, and industry events to expand the customer base.
  • Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, understanding client needs, and upselling relevant products or services.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to showcase solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • knowledge in home building is a must for this position
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to close deals effectively while maintaining profitability.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns that increase brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product offerings, industry trends, and competitors to position our solutions effectively in the marketplace.
  • Manage territory sales activities efficiently by planning visits, follow-ups, and maintaining consistent communication with clients.
  • Provide feedback from clients to internal teams to support product development and service enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the construction or related industries with an emphasis on Barndominums
  • Strong management skills with the ability to handle territory management and account development independently.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships.
  • Knowledge in the home building process from ground clearing to complete build
  • Ability to conduct engaging product demos and presentations that address customer needs effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation through cold calling, networking, or direct outreach strategies.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies related to business development within the construction sector is a plus.
  • Strong analysis skills for evaluating market trends and sales performance data.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to managing multiple accounts and achieving sales targets. Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $75,567.86 - $250,000.00 per year
