The position sits within the fund and investment accounting function and is heavily focused on partnership accounting, investment reporting, fund operations, and investor-related financial reporting. While there may initially be some management company exposure, the long-term focus of the role is supporting the investment platform and fund structure, not traditional corporate accounting.
Key areas of exposure include:
- Fund and partnership accounting
- Investor reporting and capital activity
- Financial statement preparation and audit support
- Investment funding activity and cash reporting
- Process improvement and infrastructure buildout
- Coordination with third-party administrators and external auditors
- Systems transition work including historical data/reporting support
The environment offers strong visibility and broad exposure within a lean team structure. The company has historically operated with a stable, entrepreneurial foundation and is continuing to institutionalize its reporting processes and infrastructure as it grows.
Ideal background:
- 4 years of accounting experience
- Public accounting foundation strongly preferred
- Real estate experience preferred, though private equity/investment management backgrounds will also be considered
- Experience with partnerships, funds, audits, and financial reporting highly relevant
- Someone comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with multiple entities and competing deadlines

Salary : $125,000 - $135,000
