Since launching in Mount Pleasant, NC (pop. 1,747) in 2015, Propel has experienced over 800 decisions for Jesus, over 400 baptisms. About the Role
We’re looking for a Worship Director who’s passionate about building Kingdom culture through diverse worship experiences. This isn’t just about Sundays. It’s about discipling a team, pioneering a blended gospel-contemporary sound, and helping us lead the way for churches in small towns across the country who want to worship like heaven does—together.

What You’ll Do
- Lead worship experiences that help people encounter God musically, spiritually, and culturally.
- Serve as a spiritual and musical leader for our Worship and Production Team, creating a healthy, joy-filled culture.
- Build a modern gospel worship style at Propel that blends expressive praise with excellent execution.
- Collaborate with our Lead Pastor and Creative Team to plan and execute Sunday experiences.
- Recruit, equip, and develop musicians and vocalists through coaching and discipleship.
- Work with the Worship Coordinator to schedule teams and manage Planning Center with clarity and care.
- Participate in regular team meetings and leadership development rhythms.
- Assist in resourcing or training other churches—we’re Kingdom minded, not just Propel focused.

- Are familiar with Planning Center, Ableton, or multitrack environments.
- Have experience in small-town or multicultural ministry.
- Can develop others musically and spiritually.
- Have production oversight or AVL knowledge.
