Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Compressed Air Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial air compressors, dryers, and pneumatic systems. You will provide expert technical service to commercial and industrial clients, mentor junior technicians, and ensure safe, efficient equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and Repair: Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues on rotary screw, reciprocating, and centrifugal air compressors.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine servicing, oil changes, filter replacements, and system audits to maximize equipment uptime.
- Installations: Handle the startup, commissioning, and piping integration of new compressed air systems.
- Customer Support: Provide professional recommendations to clients regarding equipment upgrades, energy efficiency, and necessary repairs.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all OSHA safety standards and company policies on job sites.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience working with industrial compressed air systems.
- Certifications: High school diploma or GED; HVAC, EPA, or manufacturer-specific compressor training certifications (Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, Sullair, etc.) are a strong plus.
- Skills: Strong electrical troubleshooting ability (reading schematics, working with 3-phase power up to 480V) and mechanical aptitude.
- Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Pay: $6,000.00 per month
