Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Grand Rapids, MI. As a Controller, you will oversee and manage all financial aspects of the business, including financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audits. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with accounting standards, optimizing financial processes, managing accounts payable and receivable, and leading the finance team. You will also provide strategic financial insights and contribute to business decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, financial planning, and reporting
- Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial audits management
- Proven ability in financial analysis, forecasting, and providing strategic insights
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Experience in ERP systems, especially Plex
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred
- Experience in the manufacturing industry or a similar field is a plus
