Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Interpreter to facilitate communication between healthcare providers and patients who speak different languages. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and demonstrate proficiency in interpretation and translation. This role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive accurate information regarding their health care, while also adhering to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate interpretation services for patients and healthcare professionals in various medical settings, including hospitals and clinics.
• Assist in the documentation review process to ensure clarity and accuracy of patient information.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations during all interactions.
• Stay updated on medical terminology and practices to provide the best possible service.

Skills

• Multilingual proficiency with strong skills in interpretation and translation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex medical information clearly.
• Familiarity with medical records management and documentation review processes.
• Experience working in hospital settings or with healthcare professionals is preferred.
• Knowledge of child protective services protocols is a plus.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
