How You'll Make An Impact
Accounting Clerk
Job Details:
- Employment Status: Permanent/Full-Time
- Starting Pay: Based on education & experience
- Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
- Verifies carrier accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Maintains historical records, controls individual carrier reconciliations, and adjusts carrier accounts as appropriate.
- Identify issues in reconciliations and provide solutions and feedback to managers.
- Communicate with agencies and resolve pending production differences.
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Assists with production reconciliation of internal and external carrier products and sweeps.
- Processes account sweeps to Independent Agents and Franchises.
- Responds to questions regarding internal sweeps and credits.
- Resolves invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation.
- Prepares regular, periodic, and special accounting reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end activities.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in Business, or Accounting preferred
- Accounting & carrier relationship experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required
- Strong Google Sheets skills preferred
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Great attention to detail, thoroughness, organization, and analysis of information
- PC proficiency, data entry, and general math skills
- Bilingual English & Spanish Preferred
