Hi,
Pronix is currently seeking an Sr. Gen AI Developer in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month contract position. this is only W2 role
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building or optimizing Generative AI solutions and help the business to address complex problems
Requirements:
- Proven hands-on experience implementing Gen AI project using open source LLMs (Llama, GPT OSS, Gemma, Mistral) and proprietary API's (OpenAI, Anthropic)
- Strong background in Retrieval Augmented Generation implementations
- In depth understanding of embedding models and their applications
- Hands on experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions on text data
- Strong Python development skills
- Comfortable with Pandas and NumPy for data analysis and feature engineering
- Experience building and integrating APIs (REST, FastAPI, Flask) for serving models
- Knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks and Orchestration
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience working with Agile Methodology
- Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to clearly express ideas
Desired skills:
- Fine tuning and optimizing open source LLM/SLM
- Experience in ML and Deep Learning
