Role Description
The Land Abstractor/Paralegal is detail-oriented, highly organized, and meticulous at data entry. This job involves complex title examination and accurately entering title data into complex reports. This job is full time on-site at our Fort Worth office location, with the option to be hybrid in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and maintain title records in company databases
- Review and interpret legal documents
- Assist with title research and document organization
- Verify data for completeness and consistency
- Support senior landmen as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a land abstractor or paralegal
- Comfortable working with large volumes of detailed information
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in data entry and basic computer systems
- Ability to read and interpret legal/property documents preferred
- Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
Schedule & Compensation:
- 1099 contractor, with the option to become an employee after a trail period
- Monday–Friday, standard business hours
- Pay based on experience
