Promptcare is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to join our team. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day activities in the warehouse including shipping/receiving, cleaning, run testing and repair of equipment, inventory maintenance, pick/pack stock and warehouse compliance with all regulations and standards. Additionally, you will assist in making deliveries to patients and facilities. Reports to: Departmental Lead, Supervisor or Manager
Job Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 12pm-8:30pm with weekend availability
Job Location: Madisonville, LA
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- HME equipment repair experience preferred
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Equipment manufacturer repair certification preferred
- Mechanically inclined
- Good verbal/communication/organizational skills
- Strong technical skills with a good knowledge base
Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:
- Picks, packages, and ships product/equipment following process for UPS, Fed Ex, and couriers for timely delivery
- Tags equipment appropriately, bags and stocks into patient-ready areas per Policies and Procedures
- Consistently empties trash, empties recycling, straightens stock and sweeps floor to maintain clean warehouse appearance
- Tracks and locates lost packages shipped from warehouse
- Inspects all shelves to ensure all product is stocked, rotated and out-of-date product is removed
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the building
- Other duties assigned
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk, lift, open filing cabinets and bend as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies of a minimum weight of 25 pounds but no more than 50 pounds.
