Reporting to: Departmental Lead, Supervisor or Manager
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Location: Hybrid or Remote out of New Providence, NJ
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience working with insurance companies and healthcare professionals (physicians, nurses, etc.) is preferred
- Previous experience with specialty pharmacy patient admissions and customer service in a similar referral source-based practice setting is strongly preferred
- IVIg case management experienced preferred
- Must have strong PC skills, especially the MS Office suite. Previous experience with the pharmacy order processing system, CPR , is a major advantage (although training will be provided)
Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients seeking services or information
- Accurately record and update client information in the database
- Assess client needs and direct them to the appropriate services or departments
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with service providers
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications promptly and professionally
- Maintain confidentiality of client records and personal information
- Provide information regarding programs and services available to clients
- Assist with the completion of intake forms and documentation
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery
- Monitor and report on intake processes and client flow
- Educate clients about the intake process and what to expect
- Follow up with clients as needed to ensure they receive necessary services
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
- Assist in the development and implementation of intake protocols and procedures
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies
- Other duties assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee is required to occasionally walk, and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally open filing cabinets, lift office products and supplies of 25 pounds but no more than 50 pounds.
