Prompt Urgent Care is excited to open a new location in Rosenberg TX. We are looking for 2 Full time MA's . Shifts are (3) 12 hour shifts with alternating weekends! PLUS shift diff for weekend shifts because we know how to take care of our staff ! We are also seeking PRNs ! Duties
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and support
- Perform basic medical procedures and tasks under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider
- Take patient vital signs, record medical history, and update patient records
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the healthcare provider
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist with medical procedures
- Collect, prepare and result laboratory specimens for testing
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, billing and other duties as assigned.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or related field
- Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience with medication administration and performing basic clinical procedures
- Familiarity with X-Ray and Lab procedures is a plus
Qualifications
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. AMT registered and AAMA Certified Medical Assistants are preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 36 per week
