Position Overview
Prompt Care Transportation LLC is seeking Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Drivers to transport ambulatory and wheelchair clients to and from various medical appointments throughout Western Pennsylvania, including Mercer County, Lawrence County, Butler County, and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport ambulatory passengers as well as clients that use manual and/or powered wheelchairs
- Assist passengers in and out of vehicle as necessary
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Operate GPS, smartphone, mobile tablet, and trip management applications
- Follow instructions with minimum supervision
- Provide excellent customer service to clients with a variety of needs
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and proper operation
Requirements
- Must be 25 years of age or older
- Valid Pennsylvania or Ohio driver's license
- Clean driving record (no more than 4 moving violations or 1 major violation in past 3 years)
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must pass drug and alcohol screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire date
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent attendance record
- Good character and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work with individuals with diverse personalities and needs
Schedule
- Shifts may start as early as 5:00 AM
- Flexible schedule available
- Part-time and Full-time positions available
Compensation
- Salary: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
