We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves performing various tasks related to lawn care, hardscape installation, and general landscape upkeep. The Landscape Technician will ensure that properties are visually appealing and well-maintained throughout the seasons.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Execute hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
• Assist in snow plowing during winter months to maintain accessibility of properties.
• Dig trenches for planting or installing irrigation systems as needed.
• Build and maintain landscape features, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to client specifications.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular inspections and repairs.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair landscaping equipment.
• Proficiency in lawn care techniques including fertilization, aeration, and pest control.
• Experience with hardscape installation methods and materials.
• Ability to operate power tools safely, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and saws.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality landscape maintenance results.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.28 per hour
